Usage and invoices

The Billing page shows what you have spent and why. What you see depends on your role:

Tab Who sees it Scope
Overview Everyone Your own credits. Admins and billing admins also see the plan summary and recent organization activity.
Plan Admin, Billing Admin The organization’s subscription.
Seats Admin, Billing Admin The organization’s seat pool.
Usage Everyone Your own balance and your own labs.
History Admin, Billing Admin Every credit movement in the organization.

Credit figures always describe your own balance, even for an admin: each member spends their own credits, and the organization holds none of its own.

The Credits this period card shows a meter of credits used out of your grant, the credits remaining, and when they renew:

Line Meaning
Refreshes followed by a date Seat credits renew on that date.
Refreshes monthly Seat credits renew every month.
One-time grant, does not renew Your organization is on Community, whose credits are granted once.
Concurrent sessions · up to N How many labs can run at once across your organization, when a limit is set.

Admins and billing admins also see the plan summary (plan, Billing cadence, Seats, Credit grant, and Renews or Cancels date) and a Recent activity list of the latest credit movements.

Granted, Used and Remaining show where your own balance stands right now. Granted is what you had this period, spent or not, so a zero means you had no credits.

A reference table of each Environment and its Credits / hour. See How a lab consumes credits.

Every lab charged to you, so you can check a charge against a lab you remember running. A lab appears here when it ends.

Column Meaning
Session The lab session.
Started / Ended When the lab started and ended.
Billed for The running time you were charged for. When the lab was paused, it reads, for example, 1h 10m less 20m paused: paused time is free.
Rate The environment’s credits per hour, for example 2/h.
Credits What the lab cost, to the hundredth of a credit.

If you have not run a lab yet, the table reads No labs charged yet.

The Credit ledger lists every credit movement in the organization, most recent first. Because each member has their own balance, the Member column says whose balance moved, and Balance is that member’s balance after the movement.

Column Meaning
Type The kind of movement (see below).
Member Whose balance changed.
Reference What the movement relates to, such as a lab session.
Date When it happened.
Amount Credits added (positive) or spent (negative).
Balance The member’s balance afterwards.
Type Meaning
Session usage A lab ended and its cost was charged.
Plan credit grant A plan granted credits: the one-time Community welcome credits, or a paid seat’s monthly renewal.
Grant expired Unused credits were cleared just before a monthly renewal. Seat credits do not roll over.
Cohort overage Cohort places beyond those included, paid in credits before launch.
Credit transfer Credits given from one member to another. A transfer shows as two rows: one for the giver, one for the recipient.
Seat assigned A paid seat was assigned to the member, with the credits left on it.
Seat released A paid seat was taken back, with the credits left on it.
VOUCHER_REDEMPTION A member redeemed a credit voucher.

Klastro charges your subscription through Stripe. There are no separate invoices for lab usage: labs are paid in credits, and once your credits run out, labs pause rather than run up an overage.

Invoices and receipts are sent by email to the Billing email set in your organization settings. See Organization settings.
