Catalog, challenges and paths
The Learn menu in the sidebar gathers everything you can launch on your own: Tutorials, Challenges, Playgrounds and Certification Paths. If you are new, start with Your first lab.
Find a scenario in the catalog
Section titled “Find a scenario in the catalog”-
Under Learn, click Tutorials, Challenges or Playgrounds. The catalog opens, filtered on that product type.
-
Narrow the list down:
- the All products, All levels and All sources menus filter by type, difficulty and origin (Official or Studio);
- the Search scenarios… field searches by name;
- click a tag on a card to filter on it, and Clear tags to get the full list back;
- the sort menu offers Newest first, Name (A–Z), Difficulty and Shortest first;
- Group by tag arranges the cards by topic.
-
Click Explore on a card to open the scenario page: estimated time, environment, task list, scoring.
Each card carries a Free or Pro badge. If your plan does not include a Pro scenario, its page shows Upgrade to launch instead of the launch button. See Plans and credits.
Take a challenge
Section titled “Take a challenge”A challenge is a real task, graded on your environment. There is no step-by-step checking: your work is graded when you submit it.
-
Open a challenge’s page and click Start Practice.
-
Wait for setup to finish, then read the Tasks in the instructions panel. Each task shows how many points it is worth.
-
Complete the tasks in the terminal. Move between them with Next and Previous.
-
On the last task, click Finish & submit.
-
In the Finish and submit for grading? window, click Submit & see results. To keep going a little longer, click Keep working.
Klastro validates every task against your running environment, then shows your results. To read them, see Results and history.
Explore a playground
Section titled “Explore a playground”A playground is a blank environment with no tasks and no grading. Open its page, click Launch Playground, then use it however you like. There is nothing to submit: when you are done, end the session.
One lab per scenario
Section titled “One lab per scenario”You can only have one running lab per scenario. If you already have one, the launch button turns into Resume (or View progress while it is still being prepared) and takes you back into that lab.
Your plan also limits how many sessions run at once. When you hit that limit, the You’re at your session limit window lists what is Running now: click Pause or End on one of them, then Try again.
Follow a certification path
Section titled “Follow a certification path”A certification path is a roadmap of steps from the first concept to exam readiness.
-
Under Learn, click Certification Paths.
-
Filter by Topic and Level if you like, then click Start on a path (or Resume if you have begun it).
-
The path page shows your Progress and the list of steps. Each step is Ready, Locked, Completed or Unavailable.
-
On a Ready step, click the launch button to open the matching lab.
-
Once the step is done, click Mark complete. You can take it back with Undo.
A few rules worth knowing:
- A Locked step shows Complete first: followed by its prerequisite steps.
- An Unavailable step points to a scenario that is not in your organization’s catalog.
- In a lab launched from a path, the Back to path button takes you back to it; the session keeps running.
- When you finish a tutorial launched from a path, the step is ticked automatically and the environment is ended.
