Read a candidate report

A candidate’s report is produced when their assessment ends, whether they finished it or time ran out. This page describes each of its sections.

Access: Recruiter or admin in the organization.

From Action
Assess → Results Eye icon (View report) on the candidate’s row.
Assess → Invitations → an invitation View report button, shown once the assessment is over.
Assess → Assessments The score in the Final Score column (View report), or the View report button on the run page.

If the report shows Report unavailable, the assessment is most likely still in progress. The Back to invitation link returns to the invitation page.

Assessment Template name.

One row per scenario in the assessment, with:

  • the scenario name;
  • tasks passed out of the total (3/4 tasks);
  • time spent on the scenario;
  • points earned (12/20 pts);
  • a gauge and the scenario’s percentage.

The radar shows the percentage achieved in each skill area the scenarios assess. Hover over a point to see the percentage and the points behind it (80% (8/10 pts)).

The radar shows at most 8 skills: those carrying the most points. Any others are listed under the chart, with their points and percentage.

The radar does not appear if the assessment measured no skills.

Next to the radar:

  • Strengths lists the skills where the candidate scored 75% or more;
  • Areas to improve lists those where they scored below 50%.

A skill between 50 and 74% appears in neither list.

One collapsible panel per scenario. Its header repeats the scenario’s percentage, tasks passed and points. Expanded, each task shows:

Element Content
Icon Green tick if the task passed, red cross otherwise.
Identifier The task’s identifier within the scenario.
Points Points earned / points available.
Attempts How many times the candidate submitted the task (2 attempts).
Checks The validation rules of the last attempt: description, pass or fail, and how long the check took in milliseconds. A rule marked (optional) was not required to pass the task.

This detail tells you what the candidate got right or missed, not just how much. To understand how tasks are checked on the candidate’s side, see Tasks and checks.

If the candidate used their scratchpad during the lab, the Candidate notes section reproduces its content as written (see Lab notes). The section does not appear if the scratchpad is empty.

Once a verdict is recorded, the Recruiter review section shows the Verdict and, if any, the notes of the person who recorded it.
